Sourcing Engineer to our Sourcing Office in Turkey - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The sourcing organisation of Bufab are both global and regional, but mostly built on regional skills and resources.

Sourcing Engineer is a key position to reach Sustainable Leadership. The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for the development of the supplier base and shall secure reaching the overall Sourcing KPI´s as well as the development and implementation of Group strategies. 

The role

• Develop existing suppliers in Turkey.
• Find and develop new suppliers in Turkey.
• Supplier Audits according to our Bufab Best Practice process
• Escalation claims handling
• Handle RFQ: s for the other Bufab Companies (outside Turkey) that need that support.
• Sourcing office will be the lead buyer for most of the suppliers (A, B, C1) in the country.
• Analysis, manage and do parts segmentation as well as master data management of the suppliers, business analysis and reporting connected to the area.

Required Qualifications & Competences

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or business management;
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in an international sourcing organization or manufacturing company
• Smart negotiation & process skills
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes: Category fasteners and machining.
• Project management and change management skills.
• Experience from (Fastener/ Switchgear/Auto component) manufacturing or multi-warehouse company is an advantage.
• Familiar with ISO, IATF standards and requirements
• Entrepreneurial, team player, “Solutionist”.
• Willingness to travel in the country.
• Fluent in English, oral and written.

Based at BUFAB location in Istanbul or Ankara.
