Global IT System Manager Infrastructure - Under tillsättning eller tillsatt, ej sökbar

BUFAB is in an expansive phase which puts high demands on both our operation and our business systems. As we are growing both organically and through acquisitions, it is important to constantly develop our It support to offer a first-class service.  

In this role you will manage both locally produced SaaS services unique to Bufab as well as public SaaS services used by Bufab. Bufab IT Operations are based on Microsoft product portfolio such as Azure, MS365 Suite & Windows Server based systems.

You will have a system/service managing role within the Group IT Operations, which includes support and to follow-up within your areas of responsibility. However, the assigned IT system administrators or third-party consultants have the expert knowledge in each individual case.

The way of working is based on an overall perspective and efficient cooperation with IT Management and IT colleagues throughout the Bufab Group.

You will be reporting to our Global IT Operations Manager who reports to the Group CIO.

Your location can be discussed, however we would prefer applicants that can spend a significant part of their time with us in the office in Värnamo.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participate in the continuous improvement work of the IT department and manage the infrastructure consisting of virtual machines, storage, and integrations. Life cycle management is a major part of the improvement work.
• Manage the stream of IT tickets, look after infrastructure and services
• Work proactively by monitoring services and infrastructure to discover problems before they have any impact
• Being part of the core infrastructure team running the Bufab Group IT infrastructure

Your profile:

• Experience of working with IT, either from an IT department within a company or as a consultant to an international industrial group
• Confident in working by yourself in a Hybrid Cloud environment as well as together with the Global IT Team at Bufab or external consultants
• Knowledge and experience how to drive development, change management and support within the areas of the infrastructure services
• Educational background can but must not include degree studies within relevant area
• Fluent in spoken and written English

As a person you are self-motivated, business- and result-oriented while at the same time being process-oriented, and well-structured.

You will be working at different organizational levels in an international context, which requires exceptionally good communicative and social skills to be able to create good relationships.
